I'm a bit of a tomboy, i play ps3 games and I hang around with the guys quite a lot, I just don't feel like I'll ever have a boyfriend because of it. Everyone guy I know tends to go for really girly girls. =(
I've tried to be girly, I started wearing dresses sometimes and foundation from time to time but is it impossible for me?

i know some girls who are happy to ps3 when they come to my house and they're all quite girly.
They're scared of the zombies on cod though.

I know some gamer girls and they were snapped up quick tbh. Don't bother being someone else in order to get a boyfriend. You'll just be miserable. Dress how you want to and act how you want to.

Keep on socialising and someone will come along eventually.

There's nothing wrong with the things you want to do. There's gna be a guy that likes you for what you do, you shouldn't change yourself to make a guy like you. He'll come to you because he likes you for who you are. As cheesey as it sounds!! :P

Being feminine, or girly as you put it isn't just about wearing dresses and putting on some slap. It's often about the way you carry yourself.

Don't worry girl. Guys love a girl who actually understands what they mean when they talk about a game. I personally love the ps3 games although i'm not a tomboy. You're already wearing dresses and stuff, that's a start, maybe a lil make-up or something? But honey, if you don't feel comfortable with it, don't change, you'll find a guy who loves you for you =)

I'm not girly but still manage to get boyfriends. Not all guys like girly girls. Wouldn't worry about it. Continue being yourself .

I love ps3 games. Yh there’s no harm in wearing a pretty dress from time to time or a slight bit of makeup to enhance your features, but always remember...be yourself

If i were a boy i'd prefer tomboys
I was like you before.. The big change happened when i was on my way to buy a pair of DC sneakers, when i bought a pair of stilettos It was round the age of 16 i guess. how old are you? Aaand i'm not saying that you have to change... You shouldn't change on purpose.. I think it will come naturally to you at some point.. but if it doesn't don't worry - there are many guys who prefers girls like you who don't moan for breaking a nail : )

    I'm a tomboy-girl.
I do my hair, nails & make-up. Sometimes wear dresses. Not really interested in sport, or gaming... but I've been told I sometimes talk about topics you'd expect males to. I also get on with males better than females.

Guys seem to go for it
I guess you just have to find a balance, op.
Don't change for anyone, just be how you're comfortable.

Ever considered that a lot of the guys don't just see you are a friend?

If you are interested in playing games then keep playing them!

You can dress more feminine and wear makeup while still hanging out with your guy friends. Maybe you should also try befriending some girls, just so you don't feel like you hang out with males exclusively or too much.

Get yourself a vagina and you're all set.

Alternatively, a copy of the Beauty Myth and you won't feel quite as sore (might feel a bit winded though).

You really don't need to change, if it'll make you feel less like yourself - I DID try and change for about 6 months and all it did was make me feel really fake.

I met my bf on a night out, while I was wearing corduroy trousers and a normal t-shirt and crappy cardigan. We talked about muscle cars and dungeon keeper and other games. He was crazy enough to like me enough from that brief, really un-girly night, to travel three hours every couple of weeks to see me. When I commented that he wasn't oggling the mostly naked girl on an advert, he told me he doesn't like really girly girls. Equally, he's still sweet enough to make me origami roses and tell me I'm pretty.

Moral/tl;dr: don't change, because you'll regret it if you do it for guys, rather than yourself. Also, you REALLY don't have to be girly to get sweet, romantic guys.
