Bought something with error in price. What are my rights? watch

    This happened to me in Debenhams once and they honoured the price that was on the item.

    advertised price has no legal meaning
    it is simply an initial offer, the shop could say to you "nah, i feel like adding a few hundred onto that" and you would then either accept or decline.
    untill payment has been processed there is NO contract whatsoever other than your interest to buy. Online is slightly different, as they have to take the payment before processing, but as soon as it is sent they can not recall, or charge you more
    however, many retailers will honor the price if it is not too big a difference in the name of custemor service
