I'm a guy who is part of a group of friends (both girls and guys) but recently we've become friendly with another group who are all girls. There's this one girl in the new group who I talk to online quite a bit now and we're pretty friendly there but never really irl. Now she's asked me online do I fancy her because her friends have said they notice I'm awkward when around her....girls, would this be simple curiosity albeit really forward, or would you only ask such a direct question if you liked the guy?

it could be curiosity or she just wants to know. ask her.

Does her motive really matter that much? Just answer her and it could result in something good!

    That's brazen of her!

She must be very confident that you like her to come out with that - but good on her for not trying to play games to find out. Basically, she likes you but is testing the water to see how you react to her before she admits anything herself.

Ooh tricky, she may like you, but if she doesnt, and you tell her, be prepared to play it cool

Well, I'd never really ask a guy if he fancies me so directly in the first place. But ye, just answer her. I don't know if she's just curious or interested, but her answer will either lead to something good between you guys or simply, nothing. If I had to guess though, I'd say she's interested.

I think she's just curious; coz she seems very confident & forward.

Well I'd never be so forward as to ask that question myself ever but I'd imagine that that would only be asked if the girl liked/fancied the guy.

She could be making it up, why don't you ask her it back, see what she says! You could deny it if you wanted. I mean if you do like/fancy her, would you tell her the truth? Or would you wait to find out if she likes/fancies you first?
