Surely it depends on the situation...?

I'm sure you’re going to more confident around friends or family than you would be if you were, say - chatting to a stranger before doing a sky-dive.

*Waits for someone to claim they can do both with inherent ease and poise*

Depends on the situation, with friends I'm fine, also family, but new situations and meeting new people, I get really shy and self-conscious..

I'm quite confident on my own, I like my own company and I feel like I can get where I want to go eventually. I definitely have the drive!

However I have zero confidence around other people most of the time. I'm very shy and quiet and don't get noticed much and when I do I get awkward. I'm alwyas awkward at work no matter how long I've been there, I just don't have any conversational skills I have some friends I'm not too quiet with though so I'm happy

Is anyone else getting the irony from this thread? Are you confident? Well, step up and tell us how confident you are.............

People, it takes some kind of confidence to say how confident you are
I don't give a **** what others think, and I accept my strengths and weaknesses.

I suppose it depends on the situation, and the odd habit of switching between extroverted and introverted. I'd say very, but I'm not sure if not giving a **** about what strangers think of me is confidence or something else...

None. Used to have loads but over the years various incidents and endless self loathing related to both these and other (often imagined) incidents have left me a hollow, fearful shell.
