    i want to go to a Russel group university to do a psychology degree hopefully and the a levels i have chosen are...

    is this a good choice?

    also, would biology be a better choice than human bio?

    Yeah they're ideal and the biology doesn't really make a difference whether you do human bio or normal bio as long as you get the right grades.

    Great choice of subjects . The stats side of maths would be good for psychology so its good you've chosen that. Human bio will certainly help understand biological principles and politics is also essay based .

    I prefer Sociology over Psychology (studying sociology helped with the social psychology topic)..

    Biology is better rated as an academic subject (I know human bio is, just biology is more common and trickier) so I'd go for that. You're free to take what A levels you want really: the most I've ever seen unis require is 'two science subjects', but that includes psychology and things like geography so you're fine
