Basically I am friends with this girl and obviously I'm friends with her for the usual reasons: we get along, have a laugh etc. etc. But I also liked her because I had a lot of respect for her and thought a lot of the values she had, however recently she has completely sold out her values and this has pissed me off quite a lot. I know it's none of my business what choices she makes and I would never say the choices she is making are wrong for this reason. But I can't help feeling a little disappointed in her, am I being pathetic and need to just get over myself? Just wondered what people thought??

It's not entirely stupid to feel a bit letdown, no, but you have to accept you're friends the person (and not the values) so if you still get along and have a laugh, then it shouldn't affect the friendship. -

It depends what she did, If she did not hurt anyone with her actions then yes you are being stupid.

Well as long as she didn't cause harm to herself or others, it's not really any of your business. If she chooses to share with you then you can offer your opinion but as your friend, try not to judge her.

My friend got really pissed off with me when I sent my kids to private school too.
