I'm looking into doing one of these pre medical courses (like medlink, premed, etc.), and I was wondering which one people would recommend? I don't see te point in spending £200 odd on a 5 day thing, maybe just a cheap, good value, 1 day course

*I'm not doing one just to put it on my cv, you don't need to tell me it doesn't make a difference to my chances of getting into med school*

If you acknowledge the 5 day courses are a waste of money, what makes you think a 1 day one will be worth it? Because it'll be a fifth of the price of a longer one, so you're paying the same amount a day?

Again, if you acknowledge it makes no difference, why are you blowing your money on this ****?

    Why are you going then?

You could just give me the 200 quid, that wouldn't help you get into med school either. And I need the money more than those MedSim chaps...

I said it makes no difference on a cv, but that doesn't mean it isn't useful and a good experience. and ok your spending the same amount per day, but I don't really have £200 lying around so I guess I could settle for 1 day.

Open day at med schools? They're free, last time I checked, and a pretty good experience.
