I've been looking at some uni prospectuses for law and some say they don't normally allow retakes; i'm just wondering if this means A2 retakes, AS retakes or what?
I'm in my AS year and retaking 2 january modules in June, do you think this will make much of a difference?

Wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so sorry if in the wrong one.

    Thanks anyway.

Module resits within the two years aren't usually a problem. Occasionally unis specify that they are not accepted but this is rare. 'Retaking' usually means going into a third year to improve the overall A level grade.

If in doubt, contact the unis in question and ask them to clarify the position. In general, unless a uni requires you to state everything you've done, retaking AS modules in June having taken them this January shouldn't be a problem as your AS grade won't be certificated until then anyway.
