My neighbours are currently engaged in a noisy sex session - well I presume from the noise they are making - and this is the second night in a row. Do you make an effort to be discreet/ quiet when you have sex or do you not care. Does it bother you if people can hear you going for it. For me personally, this is a very private act, I would hate it if people could listen in. However I sometimes get the impression that some people are deliberately loud and they want to be heard. They are showing off.

Is it necessary to make so much noise? Let me draw a comparison with women's tennis. The game is now accompanied by the most extraordinary grunting, in fact screeching, but this does not seem to have any purpose. So are noisy lovers innocent, or guilty of trying to draw attention to themselves? And lest us not forget, noise is a form of pollution.

If I knew this happened I'd watch tennis more often.

Only quiet when parents are in the house. Otherwise, boom boom pow.

Get a girl and have a sexnoise competition with the neighbours. Might shut them up. Not guaranteed but still worth it.

I see my boyfriend once every two weeks. Yes, it can be loud.

Just laugh and make them feel really awkward in the morning

I think that its fairly natural to be slightly noisy. I personally try to make an effort to be quiet since I live in halls with VERY thin walls, but sometimes its just not that easy to hold it in.
We have a rule in our flat that we should play music if we dont want to be heard. Although it now means i cant have my boyfriend in the flat and music playing at the same time or i get random stuff shouted through the door by my lovely flatmates :/

I'm quiet if I know people are home, but it takes away from the feeling of the sex as I try to suppress my moans. When we're alone I can be loud but not exceptionally. Mainly when I orgasm, and it ruins my orgasm if I have to force myself to be quiet.

There's something really hot about heavy breathing and low groans though...

lol the loud part would be the bed squeaking, not so much the shrieking.

I live in halls and I hear a girl all the time and she lives like 2 doors down from me. When I first heard it, I thought I'd be scarred for life. But as bad as it may sound, I'm quite used to it now. I dont think she is actually doing it on purpose. No one fakes noise like that...

You shove your netbook down your girlfriends throat, TheSoftwareGuy? You sick, sick person. But maybe it explains your choice of username...

In the morning, if you see them then just say, "So you two had fun last night" and wink.

They probably don't realise the walls aren't thick enough to block the sound.

If no one is in then I'll be as noisy as calls for.
If people are in then no.
But neighbours, sorry, not directly in my house, therefore couldn't care less.
