    Hi all,

I've been having a browse on the Cambridge university website (As you do ) and came across the overgrad "Mphil in Real Estate Finance course". The course looks like it would genuinely interest me as I was planning to do Land Ec. for undergrad but chose Law instead. I also always wanted to apply to Oxbridge but me and my grades weren't really in the right place and I was low on confidence However since being at university I really feel I've grown in confidence intellectually and could give this application a fair stab.

What I'd really like to know is if an LLB in Law and Criminology would be an appropriate run up degree to this course? My tutor has told me that "Based on your ability alone I would expect you to get a good 2:1", commenting that it was too early to comment on whether I could get a first (only in my first year). I'd really appreciate some advice on this and if anyone could put me in contact with anyone on the course that would be excellent.

Thanks for your time all the same.

    Regards,

    Jermynstreet
