    Hi guys!

    I am selling a few things on gumtree... so
    what is the best method of receiving a payment?

    This guy wants to buy my shoes for his wife altho he lives abroad, so what bank details do I give him?
    and is it safe lol.
    So is it safe to give your account number and sort code?
    and is that a common payment method?

    BTw dont have paypal

    Quick help willbe appreciated

    Can I give him my address and he can send me a cheque?

    You won't get a cheque until you send the item.

    And they won't send you the money after they have the item; why would they.

    Get Paypal. They may have some blunders, but not as many as fools who expected someone to keep their word and send them a cheque after they already have the item and no legal contract meaning they have to.

    It seems abit strange that he was on a local gumtree site when he lives abroad anyway...

    Ill get paypal none the less.

    I presumed that you get the cheque, it clears, then you send the item.
