    That's what I think I'll do. I might go into Finance so Economics keeps my options open. Also, do I have to take Chemistry to go into a Physics career?

    You don't need Chemistry. Some bits might help if you have to do Chemistry in first year Physics at uni (I'm not sure though that is the case for Physics courses in the UK), and for Thermodynamics maybe. Otherwise Chemistry A-Level won't help you that much for a Physics degree.

    That said it's a great subject, so take it if you like. Also, you don't need Economics, even if you want to study Economics, so if you really wanted you could take Chemistry instead of Economics. But if you don't, that's fine..

    PERFECT 4. Keep them, that's a really good set for an Economics or Physics or Maths degree

    thats a good choice , you don't need to do chemistry but some stuff may help.

    You don't need chemistry, but some stuff covered in it can be useful for things like solid state physics.
