In terms of looking and tasting as though it's been made from scratch.

For me, it's Co Operative's Sausage and Mash chilled ready meal. It tastes sooo good...

EDIT: I would have added a photo, but I can't find one.

The first and last time I had a sausage and mash ready meal I nearly threw up. 95% of ready meals taste like crap.

Something that doesnt include meat, all ready made meals that include meat are disappointing.

Tesco's chicken and pasta bake, put on for a minute too long so it's slightly burnt.

Mother of god, burnt cheese and burnt pasta taste SO good. The chicken is there too but refuses to burn.

    Prick.

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Paella is pretty tasty, if a bit on the pricey side.

Levi Root's BBQ chicken and sunshine rice is amazing!

I also like Weight Watcher's Salmon and Broccoli wedge melt, although the portion sizes are not very big.

    Sainsbury's Italian Mushroom Risotto.

It is ridiculously overloaded with garlic. But I love it so much. ^_^

I can proudly say I haven't sunk so low as to reduce myself to the debilitating slough of shame and self-pity that is the act of eating a ready meal in almost 10 years.

M&S Count On Us spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are really nice, which makes a change from the normal unidentifiable grey meat you get in most ready meals, and the sauce actually has some flavour to it.
