I would personally prefer hanging on to English Lit, but I sometimes feel that it would not help my applications. I may get a B grade because that's what I've been predicted throughout the year, and I'm trying to get the A grade.

My courseworks have been marked by my teachers who have decided to tell us after we come back from the easter break, which is tomorrow.

I was wondering, whether anyone can provide me with some tips for the English exam itself?

    P.S

Also, if I took Law with Business Studies and Drama, would that be sufficient enough to aid my applications for Law at university, and why? I'd appreciate any feedback.
well i would keep it and ignore what your predictions are, they are their to be borken

Please please please, do not even think about dropping English Lit at AS. It's probably the strongest subject on that list that will significantly boost your application. So I'd suggest you complete it to A2 and aim for at least a B (an A would be better obviously) since you're hoping to apply to top institutions such as York, Queen Mary and Exeter.

It would be ideal to aim for at least AAB in order to ensure to gain a place. If you took only law, business and drama into A2 then it should suffice I guess but you wouldn't be part of the stronger applicants. Most applicants would have done traditional subjects such as the sciences, geography, economics and history. I'm not saying you won't gain admission with those three, but it might be slightly difficult.
