    I think dentistry is much more competitive as there are less places and still an awful lot of applicants. I hope other future medics wont be annoyed at me saying its tougher for dentists.
    hmmm, as a dentistry applicant with offers i'm not sure its MORE competitive. There are more applicants per place but I would say, in my opinion the average quality of applicant is slightly lower for dentistry. All in all, they are both just as competitive.

    But enough about this, it has been discussed on other threads
