In year 12, what does anyone actually manage to do in their free periods? I have 14 x 50 minute sessions free per week and I can never find any work that I need to do.

In my January exams I got a B in Business and a D in History but I don't want to repeat that in June. What would you suggest I do? Just essay practice and revision of what has been taught in lessons, or studying more in-depth into things?

Whenever I look around the study room there's always people working, and I seem to be one of the few that aren't most of the time.

I'm currently trying to re-note quite a lot of my work - most of my notes tend to be quite messy in class, trying to write things quickly. I find noting is a bit dull, but you'd be surprised how much difference it makes just mindlessly copying. Boring, but at least it's something to do. If not, I read a science book - often find reading a bit of extra helps make sense of the class work.
