Get Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste, it's really good. Maybe try and electric toothbrush, and Crest Whitening strips are meant to be awesome!

I would thoroughly recommend Crest Whitestrips. I got the 'Pro Effects' version - one of the strongest and I saw clear differences.
Just dry the teeth and keep it on for half an hour to an hour once a day or every two days. After a weeks usage though, strange pains come into play, but these aren't so bad. But the effects far outweighed the costs, and I would advise them wholeheartedly! Many people commented on how white my teeth had become after about 5-7 uses. Order them on Amazon.

I would like to whiten my teeth but it is way too expensive in the dentist.
Is there a way I can whiten my teeth with a home-kit? or mixing some substances (as I used to know a friend who brushed his teeth once a week with a white substance and a powder and he has white teeth now)
I have been brushing my teeth for 2/3 times a day for the past 10 years!!
My teeth are a bit yellowish, something like the 2nd picture :
Has anyone trie anything that has worked?
How about hydrogen peroxide and baking powder?
brush your teeth as normal..and then once you're done, put some bircarbonate of soda on your brush and brush your teeth with that...don't be too hard on it, as the particles are quite abrasive

Brush twice a day every day but use Whitening Toothpaste instead of normal toothpaste which generally just tackles Plaque/bad breath.

I bought an oral b electric toothbrush and that has made a difference to my teeth , I doubt I will see much difference when the dentist does the clean in a few weeks . Personally I would be cautious of things specifically for tooth whitening because they may well weaken tooth enamel and I expect the effect will only be temporary .If you enjoy coffee or red wine or even worse you smoke it's probably a waste of money.
