For the first 4 years, whilst I was building up my NCB, I hardly ever took the car out in snow as I was very strategic in making sure I got 4 NCB to enable me to protect it.
if your a good driver, the biggest risk with going out in the snow is not you having a crash but someone crashing into you because they dont know how to drive.

    Don't expect to

Been involved in two crashes. Once as a moped rider who got knocked down by a clown in a people carrier. His fault. 2nd as a passenger in a car - drivers fault.

Me, I'm too pro to waste time having accidents! I let other people have them

i didnt expect to and it wasnt really a proper crash, i just backed into my dads car on the drive
my dads car being a series 2 landrover just ate a chunk out of my corsa!
it was just down to being in a rush and being in autopilot, i reversed how i always do but my dads cars were in a different order so caught myself onh the back corner

I never expected to crash, still don't. I think that probably comes from spending my first few years driving a car in which if I crashed, I would be impaled on the steering column/go flying over the windscreen. When you know you don't have all the safety kit to look after you in the event of an accident, you definitely take a lot more care.
