Hi, I'm really bored with my sixth form. The school is good fun for learning but socially, I'm really bored of the people there. I don't really go out to meet new people much and I never really have much opportunity to talk to girls.

I feel in the same shoes as you, I felt as more sixth form progress that I was losing touch with them and felt a bit disconnected from them in general. not to say we didnt hang out or party, but it just felt like I couldnt be that much closer to them :/

but i'm in year 13 now so hopefully it's just a couple more months

focus on your studies and stop being such a **** up. think about relationships, romantic or casual, when you have achieved that which you are capable of achieving. only when you discover the extent of your abilities or laziness can you know whether you are worthy of the attention of others.

Even if you are in lower sixth, you've got a maximum of 15 months left. I think this is a case of suck it up, get your head down and get the best grades you can. I think many people will feel the same as you will have been with the same people for a long time now. If you want to, there's nothing stopping you joining a club/sport or something to meet new people. If you are planning to go to uni/college, you'll obviously meet new people then and the same applies to if you are planning on going straight into work!

I say just forget about it and focus on your studies, you can't afford to mess up at A levels. You'll make new and better friends at uni.

I'm in the opposite position: college is rubbish for learning but great for socialising. But I'm bored because there's nothing mentally stimulating within a 100 metre radius of my college

just focus on your studies. its only 2 years (academically) then you're out of there!
ive got a few weeks left...YESSSSSS cannot WAIT
but it only feels good if you can do well in your exams in the end, so work hard for them
you make real friends at uni..look forward to that!

but he doesnt mean like typical bored like everyone is, he means that there's really nothing for him to do and is bored of going there
