Does anyone know the absolute error of 2d.p. (in units of 0.01s) stop clock (the one that you need to press manually)?

when you say 2 d.p. do you mean it measures in units of 0.01 seconds?

tbh, I don't think anyone here can give you the answer to that, as different models of clock will have different specifications in terms of accuracy. You would need to find the instructions that came with it.
