Due to my former parents, I'm having to stay in self-catered accommodation at university. Are the people in that type of housing normal or would they come from council estates?

Almost sounds like you're saying people from council estates are abnormal...

    Former parents?
    This.

Most people will be self-catered at most unis. So yes, they are normal. I'll be self-catering. But then I am a bit strange...

Everyone at Warwick is self-catered so that's a bit of a generalisation isn't it... There'll be a mix of people in self-catered wherever you go.

I'm surprised no one has called troll yet lol. Edit: Some has, as I wrote this lol.

I guess given my 'Shameless'-based background and 3 years in self-catering accommodation, I can't be normal lol. Oh well.

why would someone who prefers to make their own food be considered abnormal?

the only reason i'm going self-catered is because i rarely eat and when i do i normally want to eat at strange times.. so it does not make sense to be in catered accomodation.
