I really want to do Biology, Chemistry and Economics for the 3 A-levels, leaving me one a-level.

I am stuck between German or Maths AS Level as I am not sure which ones the Univerisities would prefer when considering me to do Medicine.

What if I do get 3 AAA in Bio, Chem and Economics, and they had to choose between another student and me who also had 3 AAA, would they choose the person with an AS Level in Maths or German???

Please help me with this as I really want to do Medicine and I need to know as soon as possible which one to choose for my 4th option.

    Thanks.

Mathematics would be quite useful preparation for BMAT/UKCAT, especially the statistics modules. I think the more prestigious universities might give it a preference.

Don't think it would really matter they're both strong subjects.
I would say maths because at AS level it isn't that hard to get an A.
    But whichever you enjoy more.

Thank you, I have decided to do Maths as it is a subject I enjoy and like und said, it will help me later on when applying for universities.
I enjoy both subjects, but Maths seems to be the one I will take.
    Thanks once again
