I finished my antibiotics for salmonella last week but its came back again! I had salmonella for a month the last time and ive been to the doctors today and she said i had the symptoms of salmonella again so ive put a stool sample in which will be back on monday and then i can start taking more antibiotics.

But the problem is ive already took a month of sixth form and i cant afford any more time off as they werent very happy last time. im afraid i might get kicked out of sixth form but i cant help it if im not very well. could they do this? my attendance is 50% and they say i have to make sure i get in school everyday from now on??

i will try and get in to school but i have to walk and it gets me out of energy and i get really bad pains. do you think my school would kick me out if i take anymore time off?

Worst comes to worst you can always retake the year. Its not ideal but they can't penalise you for being ill!

If you have a legit medical reason for you absence you should be fine, you should give your school a doctors note however, I get migraines sometimes (last one last week ) and I never have had issues with them and missing school school. Get your work, and revise at home. hope you get better soon, know what food poisoning is like.
