18-30 holidays sound very cheesy and tacky to me, no offence but it's not my idea of a holiday.

I went and it was a waste. The hotel was awful though it cost enough) the reps couldnt be arsed and then we had to pay extra to go on the club nights out which basically went-here's a bar go drink.

We complained whilst we were there and when we got back but the company didnt really do much when we were ther but when we got back we got vouchers to use on an 18-30 holiday!

Apparently they are trying very hard to shed the whole sex-and-booze image. I read the other day that they've hired advertising giants Saatchi & Saatchi to come up with a new, more sophisticated image. They certainly have their work cut out for them!

I went on one to Ayia Napa earlier this year, right laugh if you're light hearted and can stand for a bit of p*ss ripping out of you generally a good time to get drunk, meet tonnes of people, and get sunburnt

I have friends who have been on 18-30 holdiays and apparantly the accommodation they offer leaves a lot to be desired. Personally its not my idea of a good time, no offence to anyone else.

It all depends on where you go, and who with I reckon. You can make it what you want to. A lot of people will enjoy them, theres always those that wont :p:

I wouldn't go on one, my brother did at 16 for 2 weeks and spent 1 week in bed with suspected menningitus.

I went on one to Ibiza because it was v cheap and was all sorted out for me. Accomadation was not brill, no aircon no fridge so we had to buy ice everyday and put all our water, booze etc in the bidet.

The deal incl bed and breakfast and the breakfast was dire, slimy bacon, rubber eggs and soggy toast. We ended up going out for brekky every day whcih was great as we didnt get up til 12 anyway.

The pool was ok, but you couldn't have beers or any bottled drink as there were "issues" with glass around the pool which is fair enough, but was odd as every holiday I have been on in South East Asia has had bars in the pools so bit dissapointing.

In addition to this, the room service would always come along "at the wrong time" if you know what I mean, or at 6 am when you had just got home from clubbing and couldnt really be arsed with cleaners. My Chanel sunnies and Gucci watch were stolen from my room as well GRRR.

The people on the same trip were of varying standards. Lots of yoof with England Tshirts and tattoos. We had a couple of guys from Kent who decided to get inked while they were there. They told each other that they would get each others names inked on their arses, one get "Robertson" and the other got "Your name". Hence he now has the worst pick up link ever - "Hey babe, I've got your name tattooed on my bum" .

Best part was getting home from clubbing at 5am and everyone else would too so there was lots of fun drinking with people from all over the UK.

So, it was ok, I mean, we paid £299 for everything and I doubt I could have expected better. Next time will spend a lot more to get a better hotel.

Give me a week in Paris or Barcelona any day. It really is not my idea of fun, Them trying to get rid of their image of sex and booze is like coca-cola branding them selves as a health drink - its never going to happen.

I went to Malia with twentys, the hotel was quite crappy but all the staff were nice. The nights were always fun but the days nearer the end started to dragggggg like anything, i think 10 days would have been enough - not 2 weeks.

The beachs were a bit crap as there wasnt room to move and in general it wasn't the chav fest i was worried about which was nice. The strange thing is that i never wanted to keep in touch with anybody from that holiday when in the past i had kept in touch with quite a few people. It was an experience but i wouldnt do it again, i think £1k could be far better spent on a holiday somewhere else.

£1000k is very expensive, for £600 I have spent a week railing across Western Europe, we went to Paris, Lille and Amsterdam. The following year we went to Barcelona with 3 days in Lloret in the middle to save on hotel costs (Lloret is £15 a night and £2 train fair from Barcelona).

Llloret really dragged as well, during the day my mate just stayed in the hotel while I would walk up and down the front.
