I recently got a conditional offer from Birmingham university for comp sci, the condition being they see my certificates (basically I'm in). But my interview at the UEA isn't until the 6Th of April which is VERY late. The deadline for applying for accommodation is 31st of May and I can't apply now as I need to receive my student id from them to apply for accommodation, which most likely means I have to confirm with them first.

So if I want to at least see what the UEA is like im going to be applying a lot closer to the deadline than I would be. Accommodation is gaurenteed for first-years so I don't think it's a question of whether I'd get accommodation (providing I meet the deadline). But will I end up in the halls furthest away from campus with no ensuite option?

I'm damn sure I want to go to Birmingham, It's the best Uni for comp sci I could hope to go to with a BTEC ND by a large margin. My family wants me to see the UEA first, because it's 30 minutes away whilst Birmingham is a 3 hour drive.

How much is waiting a month or so going to cost me?

Have you actually been to see UEA? If you have, and you're still absolutely sure you want to go to Birmingham, you can withdraw from UEA now.
