i know alot of guys who are proud to have a girlfirend who is age 18 - 27+ who just stays at home, cleans, cooks, works out to look nice etc.
I would love to have a domestic girl like that.

If my girl lived off my money, that would make me real proud.

A girl that stays at home, cleans good, cooks good and takes care of the kids, what more can a man ask for???

Women are beautiful creatures, making them work 9-5 and also do all the homely stuff is really not fair.

I'm not really fond of (or have ever heard of...) a "stay at home girlfriend". Stay at home mum however, is normal.
I'll probably stay home with the children until I think they are ready for kindergarden - I really don't want to rush them (I hated kindergarden, and I really don't trust the competence of the people working there). After that, I might work part-time and go back to full time once they're grown up. I'd like something to fill my life other than cooking, cleaning and hanging out with my children - I think it's healthy for the marriage and children too.

I actually want to be a stay home gf and eventually a stay at home mum. My bf doesn't mind because he wants too look after me and provide for me and as long he is in a position to do so he will not mind me not working. I am however going to university and not just for the fun of it but because I do need a career in case my bf doesn't earn enough money to support us both. I know that in all likely hood I will have to work but I hope to keep it part time. I know it sounds old fashioned but I enjoy looking after the house, cooking and looking after my bf. The only argument my bf has against it is that he is worried that I may get bored, bless him.

I have to say though I actually hate saying all that. I have been looking after my family for years (by this I don't mean that I have children but I look after my parents and brothers). Cleaning, cooking etc. As much I have *****ed and moaned about it I realised that I only do it because I want to. I would NEVER tell them that though hahaha

I'd rather not marry a man for his money. I'd be bored ****less at home all the time. Whatever my partner earns, I'd rather use the money that I have earned on things I want.

so say for example you and you r bf break up (im assuming you're under 18). since your main aspiration in life is to just tend to the house and care for your bf, will your main goal in life to be to get another bf asap and move in with him?

guys dont get me wrong, i cook and clean but no way is that a full time job. if i didnt work i would imagine most of my time would be free to go gym, doss, tv, why should my bf support me a lifelong holiday, we arent even married?!

many of these girls go through school and uni having fun not working to much, doing degrees in media or arts and dropping out, aspiring to have a man to support them.

now i can understand not being able to find a job, but i dont understand these wannabe WAGs who all they aspire to is sitting at home living off their bf's money.

and i dont understand why guys like/dont mind it?

EDIT: im not talking about stay-at-home moms, ladies with babies etc. im talking about girls who cook, clean, then sit on their bum or go shopping the their mans money all day.
If the man can afford it, who cares? And it might be a pretty sweet life for the woman, but if it was me I would be constantly beating myself up for pissing my life away and not doing anything worthwhile.

That's the principle behind the whole giving women equal opportunities in the workplace, so they can liquidise their capital and use it to take any avenue.

I'm not about to let a girl do that to me, though, even if I was rich. I really envy girls in that they can basically choose to have a jolly all their lives; the only thing stopping them is pride.

Some girls are just parasitic lazy ****s.

Some guys are so threatened by any display of ambition and success from their partner that they prefer stay at home partners.

Result is stay at home girlfriends/wives.

People these days have no personality. Therefore, men need to pay women to hang out with them, and women are too vacant to do anything worthwhile.

I'm 21 actually, I don't see why my age is relevant though. Like I said I am going to university so that I have a career so if me and my bf broke up I would work and support myself. I'm not with my bf for his money or so that I have someone to support me. I'm with him for all the other right reasons. I don't see what is wrong with me wanting to stay home if me and him both agree that we would like it that way.

Like I said before though, this is all depending on finances so I will probably work at least part time for as long as I need too.

I suppose I should say that I don't plan on waiting long after university to have children so I will more than likely be a stay at home mum.

^^^^ this - seems to me that the insecure men are the ones proud to have a girl dependant on them and only them. and only the lazy, self-entitled girls are content to so nothing but shop and doss.

how is it a waste of education she can use the knowledge she gained from her education to educate her children
why do they sent their kids to school? what

thats besides the point though, this thread is about girls without kids who just stay at home living with their boyfriend. they have no kids, no husband and do noting. how is that good.

also if your aspiration in life is just to get a guy to support you, pop out babys and play house then if you r kids look up to your example, why would they think education is something to aspire to and work hard at if like you they want to be a stay at home girlfriend to some guy rather than have a degreee or career?

I definitely want a girlfriend who would stay at home and do all the housework.

A woman should know her place - in the kitchen and doing all the dirty work around the house. :yep:

Girls don't actually need to acquire top notch degrees espicially if they want to become housewives.

It also makes the males feel like an Alpha male when their girls come under their umbrella.

I think majority if the men would like this if they were financially well off.

I did say 'bit of a', wouldn't be so bold as to assert it'd necessarily be a total waste, but university places are a scarce commodity aye..

Just because it doesn't fit into your ideals, doesn't mean its wrong or a waste.
