I have just sent off my personal statement and other documents to Birmingham and somehow I managed to make the mistake of listing the degree I was applying for as MA International Marketing instead of MSc, both on the title page and several times in the statement itself. Given that it would have my first choice course, I am devastated that I made such a stupid mistake, but I seem to have made a few while applying probably because of nerves

I called the admissions department and explained, and was told it would probably be fine, but obviously I don't think they will be at all impressed! Not much I can do about it now but I wonder, have I just totally ruined my application?

I think it will be down to the person/people reading it.

Not much you can do about it now.

It won't make the slightest difference.

    Stop worrying about silly things.
