Okay so for my AS Literature coursework I've got to write a 2000 word comparison piece between J.D Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye and Harold Pinter's The Caretaker.

My question is about "lost and loneliness" so I'm wondering if anyone has seen / read The Caretaker and could suggest ways in which lost and loneliness is a theme (the characters, the setting, etc).

I think I have enough material for TCITR but there isn't much around on The Caretaker.

    Thanks in advance,
