ok guys IF you did have this, what would you have put on it? Im going to put Newtonian physics as i am interested in that, but i dont know much about computer science and i cant program????

I dont want to give them a topic that will make me look an idiot! lol

Electricity??

Uhh, what's a 3/4 area of discussion? Am I missing something?

Newton is a gimp at Cambridge... Don't list him. Say something cool like QED (kidding).

Though honestly if you go to physics lectures (or at least the B lecture) from the start he stresses that this isn't true or real, but it's a really good approximation. They are true scientists wrt newton. I was expecting a big monument or something, but honestly physicists here have no more respect for newton than anyone else who has had a significant breakthrough in science (Galileo, Einstein, Pauli...)

If you like newtonian mechanics by all means list it. I'm still not sure what "3/4" means, so I don't really know what you're asking? Are these things you want to concentrate on at Cambridge or things you already know? Or things you want to talk about at the interview?

3/4 means 3 or 4 hehe

Yes, list 3 or 4 things that may come up in the interview to talk about, thing is im not a programmer so i cant talk about that- and i dont really fancy talking about mathematics because thats asking for trouble! lol

so put down the stuff you know you can talk about... there's really no need to pretend to be something you're not....

ive put down things more that im interested in, but that i can ask questions to the interviewers- ie "can i do this on the course?" etc

yeah that would work too.... i really need to sit down and think up intelligent things to say.... or else i'm gonna end up looking like an idiot....
