# Integrating/Differentiating lnx watch

1. Could someone please differentiate and integrate the following (or some of if you can't be bothered to do them all):
I'ts not my homework I just want to check the rules!

ln(x)
ln(3x)
3ln(x)
ln(2x+1)
2ln(6x+2)

Thanks!!

3. To integrate lnx use integration by parts with 1.lnx
4. I can look at formula but I was really looking for someone to do what I asked in the question, which is basically give some examples. Anyone?
5. You give us your answers, so we can check it

Sounds good!

So differentiating:

ln(2x+1) would = 2/(2x+1)?
2ln(6x+2) would = 6/(3x+1)?
7. Am I right in saying that integrating 2/(5x+3) would = 2ln(5x+3)?

You also forgot the derivative of 5x + 3 so you need an adjustment factor of 1/5. Therefore 2/5 ln(5x+3)

Sounds good!

So differentiating:

ln(2x+1) would = 2/(2x+1)?
2ln(6x+2) would = 6/(3x+1)?
Correct
