Basically its the usual story mate gets a bf then forgets you exist.
I was particularly hurt by this friend because we has a really good friendship and i helped her through a lot of serious issues at uni so didn't think she would throw it away for a boy
anyway she never comes out , havent seen her since new years eve and that was because her bf went away, she was going on and on about how she hadn't seen me and the others for ages and arranged a night out which she cancelled last minute. after that i thought i have plenty of other friends and had enough of being there for her when shes not there for me so i basically stopped texting/answering her calls..is this harsh?

Yeah you do have the right to be angry. It is the usual story, it's happened to me. If she's ignoring you, you may as well ignore her, that's not harsh.

And I can understund you being hurt by it but try not to dwell on it anymore, that's not good for you and she's not dwelling on it, and like you say you have plenty of other friends.
