Not telling the truth to get into college watch

I've got a College interview for the second for a year of A2. Problem is I have failed one year of AS which I redone then done the next year of A2 which I passed but with grades I didn't like. I've now applied to another college to do another year of A2 but in the application form I didn't put down either the first year I failed or the second year that I did in that previous college.
There are gaps in the date which they probably will notice, but other than that I haven't put down anything else. They have asked for a reference from a previous college which I would have to get but I'm just worried they wont accept me as this would be my fourth year of A levels. I haven't told them so I'm just worried if they ask me something in the interview or if they realise once I get into the college

They probably have your record, don't risk it lol. Just say you didn't try hard enough and have learnt the error of your ways, or so you had some bad family life or something if you wanna lie.

I would definately tell them, it could affect all sorts of things. i.e funding. If it's anything like my college, they would only pay for you to be in education upto the age of 19, so the fact (i'm guessing) your probably older than 19 you'll probably have to pay to resit anyway. If you don't tell them now, and they find out when your on the course they have the right to chuck you off the course.

Tbh colleges get paid for bums on seats, I can't see their being an issue with you just being honest with them. So long as it's not a really prestigiuos college or a private college there shouldn't be an issue imo.

well if you do tell the truth make a point of stating FIRMLY why you want to do this course what you will get out of and that you ae extreamly motivaated to see it through then this should win your case regardless of the first two years... get your story straight and dont beat around the bush .... unless your into that .....
