logs? watch

1. doing june 2005 paper. on question 2 part b i don't understand the method. care to explain?

No. i understand the first part it's just the x+1/x=7 part i don't understand 1/6 is found from that
5. Log A - Log B = Log (A/B)

Then compare both sides x+1/ x = 7

x+1 = 7x (multiply by x)

6x = 1 (subtract x)

x = 1/6 (divide by 6)

Lol, you're ****ed for the exam.

x + 1 = 7x

1 = 6x

x = 1/6
