Essex or Nottingham Trent for Economics?

This is my first post so please ignore any mistakes.
I just wanted to know your opinions and advice on which uni i should go to for economics as essex seems to have a more reputable department but Not Trent offer a sandwich year with a work placement so i am a bit torn as i liked both the campuses equally when i visted them and am not sure which would give me a better chance for future employability.
