To replace Takarajima, I started Xam'd: Lost Memories... which had a fantastic first episode, but I'll be putting it on hold again briefly while I download better quality files. Think I downloaded the current ones (very low res .avi) when I was still relying on my laptop to watch anime, but they don't do the show justice.

But since that leaves me with nothing else to watch in the meantime, I've started Nodame Cantabile, another show which has been lying around unwatched for far too long. It reminds me a lot of Honey and Clover (which I only watched last month) in terms of look and style, but that's no surprise since they share animation studio, director and character designer. :giggle:

Do most of you download your anime then? I tend to stream mine as I have way too little time to search for it and have hardly any space left on my hard drives due to them being full of music and films.

I mostly stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu, because I have no patience to download; but my brother likes to download his anime so I just copy his files There is a big difference in quality when you download though, so I would say it's worth it in that sense (this is for anime not on CR/Hulu though since their quality is already superb ).

I download my anime, convert to an MKV file (using a bit of software called Freemake Video Converter), put it onto portable hard drive and connect to Blu Ray Player.
Watching anime on a 46' TV = best experience ever!
Compared to a tiny 15' laptop...

    Animes currently on there:
    Attack On Titan
    Ao No Exorcist
    Is This A Zombie?
    FMAB
    Summer Wars (Movie)
    Soul Eater
    Hikaru No Go
    Fairy Tail

    Question on Attack On Titan:
    Hey Guys;

Well, I am on episode 10 of Attack On Titan and I am almost certain (don't read on unless you have seen up to at least episode 10) that the collosal titan is a human shapeshifting into a titan given it's intelligence.

I just wanna know if we find out what caused it to break the wall in the first place in the first season. =l
Don't tell me when or why, I just wanna know if we get told.

Not so far, no. In fact there hasn't been any development on the colossal Titan. It's only been mentioned every now and then.

Thanks! I forgot to mention that I've watched Guilty Crown so I'll give the others a try, starting off with Death Note.

If you liked those, you will most probably like SAO (although, dub is still being released if you are a dub only person).
    You may like Soul Eater
I like Black Butler (skip first ep though, complete crap)
If you like DBZ, you will like Fairy Tail (IMO, has better fights than DBZ too given fights don't like 5 episodes minimum...)

    EDIT:
Heaven's Lost Property is also comedy gold! XD

    Yup yup deathnote is awesome,
-try Bakuman afterwards (made by same people))
    - yu yu hakusho...
-Since you like beyblade and digimon... Duel masters, bakugan and yu gi oh are all pretty decent.

Ah... I miss that beyblade intro theme music....

To be fair the current generation of kids need to experience the first series of beyblade and a bit of DBZ. This is what got me into anime! That and card captor Sakura.

** I've seen Yu-Gi-Oh! and it was awesome. Especially at the end when the writers decided to go back to ancient Egypt!

** I always used to sing along when it came on TV!
    "That's beeeyblaaaaade, beeeeeyblaaaaaadee!"
I'm so hyped right now after listening to that! (+3)

I'd second most of the recommendations you've already been given, and add Monster Rancher, Dragon Drive and Angelic Layer to the list (if you've got space for more :p:)

That was good, but let's be honest... Nothing can beat the DBZ opening.

Fun fact: I can draw pretty good, so when I showed them my DBZ/dragonball drawings, I was hailed as the coolest kid in the playground. (Probably because everyone in year 3-4 watched DB or DBZ, so I have fond memories of the show...)
