Really enjoying Usagi Drop. Might tell my small bro about it, since he recently moved from thinking all anime was gay porn to thinking all anime was bloody battles. SIGH. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't spend all his time at the computer, beside my manga collection.

    Dammit, MY manga collection!

A Drunken Dream, All My Darling Daughters, Antique Bakery, Baku, Black Sun, Black Jack, Banana Fish, Battle Royale, Bleach, Buddha, Chobits, Colour of Rage, Death Note, Detroit Metal City, Densha Otoko, Dororo, Descendants of Darkness, Eden: It's An Endless World, Fake, Fullmetal Alchemist, Flower of Life, Full Metal Panic, Full Moon wo Saga****e, Garden of Dreams, Gerard et Jaques, Kino no Tabi, Hotel Africa, The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, Lament of the Lamb, Loveless, Lupin III, Mail, Maria Holic, Metropolis, Moyashimon, Mushishi, Nana, Not Love But Delicious Foods Make Me So Happy!, Not Simple, Ouran High School Hpst CLub, Ooku, Pluto, RG Veda, Rocket Girls, Sexy Voice and Robo, Song of the Hanging Sky, Trigun, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, To Terra, Walkin' Butterfly, Wild Rock, Wolf's Rain, xxxHOLiC, X-Kai, Yakitate!! Japan and Yu-Gi-Oh! at his finger tips, and he thinks it's all porn or fighting?

With my Kenshin binge over for now (I haven't seen the movie, but I wasn't given it, and I fancy watching something different anyway), I'll be making a start on Akazukin Chacha. I'm also downloading Slayers in Space Lost Universe, because it sounds awesome.

Does the title itself have something to do with food I took it for just being a japanese title with maybe a french word in it? Either way I find it funny how it's based in paris and they are talking japanese as french and as Yune and the old man can speak both I found it confusing in the first episode to know which one they were speaking at what times exactly.

Akazukin Chacha is off to a great start! As long as it doesn't become repetitive, I could see myself marathoning it's 74 episodes in no time.

My translation would be "the crossroads of a foreign maze", presumably alluding to Yune's arrival in Paris.

I'd assume the food association comes from the similarity between the words Croisée and Croissant? :p:

Definitely one of the better offerings from Gonzo, and one I didn't pick up until much later on. The animation style is something I'd expect from an OVA, not for a television series.

anyone know if there is a cosplay club or that sort of thing in london?
i'm moving there next yr for uni. not like a college organized student club or anything, just a cosplay society, if you want to call if that, for people in london....i know it sounds kind of weird, but its quite common in asia. does that sort of thing exist in london??

anyways i might as well share my favourites since i'm already in this thread,

Gintama is the longterm anime that i follow.
Bleach is mostly read in manga instead of watching anime for me.
recently i have also watched ao no exorcist and nurarihyon no mago season 2.
as for all time classics, i like death note and lelouch/code geass...

Lelouch makes an appearance in episode 3 of Sacred Seven. Nakata's involvement is clearly apparent. :giggle:

Well, specifically a character that looks like him, not actually Lelouch. :giggle:

Ah well makes sense since they are made by the same studio right. Maybe it's a possibility of what happened to lelouch/where he ended up at the end of R2.

Theres alot of cosplayers in london I think if the turn out from many of the events down there is any indicator.:giggle: Not sure about groups as such but I imagine if your university has an anime related society that they would know.

I saw a character that looked a lot like Jeremiah in the first episode, and a kid that looked like Rivalz... the butler gave me serious Kuroshitsuji vibes too. :p:

I was wondering what that thing on Knight's ear is -- just ornamentation?
