Hey guys, needing some help
I dropped out of strathclyde uni in sep last year i would have been starting my 3rd year in social sciences, I had some family issues throughout my 2nd year and missed exams and fell behind so I thought it would be best to leave
I'm just wondering if i were to apply to go back to start next year if they would allow me to begin in 2nd year again as I passed all my exams in first year?
I was going to email them to ask if this is possible, as I am worried I wont be able to go back because I have now dropped out twice and my saas funding only has a certain amount of years left on it i think, if i had to do a four year social sciences course from the start again I dont think they would cover it, if i managed to get into second year though and leave in at the end of third year and then do a years teaching degree which is what I want to do, saas might cover my funding
any help would be appreciated guys !

It's certainly possible but it's up to the uni whether they will let you do it.

There's no harm in trying but they may question why you didn't approach them about your problems and ask for help, possibly to take a year out; rather than just dropping out.

Have you actually contacted SAAS? If not, i would give them a call.
