    Hi
    I've had a renault clio for a year now and I want to get either an VW Polo, Vauxhall Corsa or Ford Fiesta. I'm looking fro 02-05 plates.

    Which car would is better value for money?
    I only really use my car for driving to work and college.
    Which car would you recommed and why?

    Not a great selection there. However, for what it's worth, I would avoid the VW.
    They aren't partiuclarly great electrics wise - i've had more than a couple come through with massive engine managment issues.

    Toss up between corsa and fiesta on reliability. Parts prices are pretty similar. Arguably the ford should hold it's value slightly better. Both are capable of mega miles - I know of one 3 cylinder corsa of that era which managed 260k miles before giving up.
    I do quite like the vauxhall 3 cylinder engine - much like the a series, it punches well above it's weight. Similarly the ford engines are well proven units.

    If you must have a hatch out of these three I would pick between the corsa and fiesta. A shame the VW's have electrical issues really as it is the best car out of the three to drive.

    I wouldnt really go for any of those. They are good cars, and if i had to choose one of them id choose the fiesta, but id seriously look at a nissan micra, hyundai getz or kia picanto.
