I am at a healthy BMI, i've gained quite a lot of muscle over the past few months but i have always had a 'spare tyre' or an excess of fat accumulated around my waist and love handles. Im not sure how to get rid of them because most websites say it cant be done using crunches. Has anyone got any ideas?

How to lose a spare tyre?

Well, you can either leave it by the road or sell it to someone.

Cardio for fat loss, eat less (I think it's 500 calories less than your GDA)
Not too sure on the second part but definitely cardio.

    /sigh.

You can't spot reduce fat. Those sites saying you'll get rid of tummy fat from crunches are bull****.

You have to eat with a calorie deficit of 500 from your RMR.

Lift weights and cardio if you want as these will also burn calories.
