Hello guys and girls, I've got a place in Glasgow next year to study medicine. I can't wait to get started, I'm so excited but at the same time i was wondering if the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) runs some kind of scholarship program for musicians in the university?

I know a similar system is in place with the Royal College of Music in London and Imperial college in London. I have a friend at Imperial studying medicine, and she managed to apply for the scholarship, was successful and now recieves free lessons on flute. I'm quite a decent trombone player (I got into RNCM last year because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do medicine or music) so I really want to keep my lessons going. I was just wondering if anyone knows if there's a similar system in Glasgow like there is in Imperial?

    Thanks x
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
