I'm in my third year at university in scotland, and got one year left, but im really getting fed up with it. Its not the course so much, but my friends. I'm only in a small group of friends - about 4 of us, and obviously money is a huge issue - but no one wants to do anything any more, and they are all too bothered about going home all the time!, but whenever i go back home to my old school friends - they are loving uni and would rather stay there than go home! feel so lost!

is anyone else in a similar situation?

Yes kind of- but the difference is I'm at home this year and commute to uni every day. Too far to go out with uni mates on nights out and such, and home friends are all at uni! But tbh I just use the time to get work done, and then use the weekends to see people =)

I know what you mean, but I am one of those people who doesn't like uni all that much, and prefer going home to see all my mates there (none of whom at are uni because we're all chavs). 8 days left of the year, get in.
