Asking once or twice - not an issue. But from what OP said, it seems they have done this many times before:
So i did have some insecurity/paranoia issues in the past in which i'd ask her where she is going, who she is seeing etc etc when she goes out with friends.

After a while, that kind of questioning whenever you go out becomes intrusive and annoying.

(However, what your ex did was a bit OTT...)

Nope. If he didn't want to tell me, I'd be totally fine with that - unless I had a very, very good reason to think that he was up to something that he shouldn't be. If I know that I trust him and he's not cheating, then what does it matter where or who he's with? None of my business :smile:
