Chem or Further Maths. Obviously depends on your FM modules and teacher as having relearned FM stuff at uni I have found it wasnt actually impossible

The people who claim chemistry is hard have obviously not studed physics beyond GCSE.
I do both. In order to get a good grade in chemistry, you just need to parrot what you've been told. In physics you need to have an understanding of the content and a reasonable understanding of maths if you want to do well. Chemistry really has nothing on physics. The only thing that bugs me with chemistry is their refusal to use SI units consistently and the coursework, just because ive done crap loads and it's slowly killing me.

I have heard bad things about History and Chemistry. Maybe they just attract whiny students, but they seem to have the hardest reputation.

40 Pages?!?

You've got it easy, i'm on 40 pages at the moment and still on the analysis!

Some fella did 120 pages last year, though 40 were graphs :teeth:
I used size 8 font

I finished it last week. I'm so glad it's all over. Good luck

My maths teacher has told me at the begining of the year that the only subject that is as hard as maths is physics. I do maths, physics, chemistry and biology at AS. Maths is definately the hardest. You have to remember how to work something complex out and apply your knowledge to even more complex problems without any chance of visualising anything.

Physics is not bad if you have good imagination and logic (but still hard), with chemistry you just have to remember a few simple calculations and the shape of molecules, it is hard but not that bad. Biology is just about memory and ability to apply knowledge.

But that is just AS...

Lol @ the people who voted religious studies. I voted Chemistry, as it's hardest out of the 4 I do. (Maths, bio, chem, psycho.)

It would appear the 4 A levels that I do have the highest number of votes.

Thank God, I was beginning to think I was just really thick :/

And Chemistry is simply horrid in A2... Physics isn't so peachy either but it seems slightly more intuitive

Physics - find it easy enough

Chemistry - I would felch a fetid Filipino for an A. I hate it, it hates me.

Biology. The amount you need to know is ridiculous. Chemistry is piss easy in comparison.

Of the one's I'm doing, Chemistry. It was easy at AS, then BAM, A2 hit me.
Am I weird for thinking A2 is easier? The jump from GCSE to AS is just insane. A2 was more welcoming because you're used to the main concepts from AS.
