The subtle flavour of calamari works well when stuffed with fried cardamom, coriander, tomatoes and onion. Calamari is a total delicacy and you shouldn't overpower it with other flavours; just compliment it with a single external flavouring and place it upon some toasted breads.

Lol, I think cardamom is really strong and would just ruin the whole thing for me, I only ever use cardamom when I'm making curries. Tomato would also ruin it for me because I don't want it saucy, I prefer it dry and almost crispy. Onion would ruin the flavour too, I'd be better off using a touch of garlic powder.

Where have you tried this recipe that you're recommending?

    I adore calamari :coma:

    Takeaways should totes sell it.

I had squid ink linguine with calamari in a mildly spicy tomato and olive sauce just a couple of weeks ago. It is one of my favourite things of all time. Let's have a TSR calamari meet.

A very good restaurant in Tuscany. I don't know why I got negged, any combination of flavours have the potential to kick tooshie as long as balance is achieved. The calamari was seared to perfection too, tentacles coiled just so and the body scored down one side only, just enough salt, and very gentle tomato and onion flavours.

I didn't neg you, just possed you to prove it!

Thanks for the recipe! I think I'll have to try it at a restaurant. It seems rather specialist.
