    Hi everyone,

wondering if I could get some advice. Basically I had huge second thoughts about continuing my politics degree around christmas. (I'm in my second year) so I decided to put a late UCAS application in around the end of January. I applied to Salford Uni to do the Childrens Nursing degree as this is what I had planned to do after graduating in 2012 anyway.

I really didnt expect to hear anything back but I recieved a letter yesterday offering me an interview! I'm still in two minds about what to do this september as I'm passing my degree at the moment but I'm really not enjoying it, but my gut instinct is to graduate next year as planned.

So I was wondering if I went to the interview and got offered a place on the course for this september would it be possible to defer until september 2012? Or should I contact the uni beforehand and let them know I would like to defer. I'm worried it would count against me if I reapply through UCAS for next september as I'm thinking about applying to Manchester Uni too.

Any help would be really appreciated!
