    Hey guys, need a bit of advice here

    im seeing my dad on sunday, first time i will have seen him in 8 years or so.

    he isnt coming to my house because maybe it wouldnt be suitable to just land in after 8 years of no contact because of my mum and all so were going to meet up somwhere, problem is where?

    i cant think of anywere that would be suitable... i was thinking maybe a pub or something but i dont want to stand in public and be like hey? long time no see

    yano what i mean, so anyone have any ideas?

    Café or pub is always good for this kind of thing, somewhere you can just talk casually without too much pressure. Otherwise, try going to a cinema or an art gallery, museum, etc. to give you something to talk about.

    see i dont wanna go to a pub or something my city is small your very likely to see several people you know, so i dont want to be like hugging in the middle of a restruant or bar if you can see my poiint

    How about meeting in the rail station of another town or if you're driving maybe you could meet at a Motorway services area.... just a suggestion.

    Can always talk about the journey there and decide where to go after that.
