There should be a question mark at the end of your title. Moreover, you have spelt 'Asian' wrong.

well spotted Sherlock
not only does it have typical 'asains', it also has unorthodox 'asains', weird 'asains', cool 'asains', modern 'asains' and even (your never gonna believe this) non-'asains'

I live right next to Brunel and have never heard of this, several of my friends go there and don't seem to notice this problem.

Who cares? Why should this impact you in anyway? You must have a boring life!

Given that at least 50% of the world's population live in Asia, i believe your definition of 'typical' needs some work. One of my friends while at Brunel was Asian and he is a huge fan of the Tories and Maggie Thatcher - don't know if that's typical? I also had another friend (also a tory oddly enough) who as 'white british' as you like (came from York and worked in a tea shop at weekends) who hated rock and pop but liked bhangra because he could do the dance moves. Brunel is a world of individuals.

I'd like to say there are quite a few Asians you get the rude ones as with any group, but you get the good ones as well.

As for rock/indie music there is always the Rock Society, they regularly do stuff and there's a pub that has a rock night once a month.
If you don't like RnB and popmusic you're going to have to avoid Academy and Liquid most nights. I usually go out with mates or to Camden when I want a rock night

It's 'very diverse' but each race sticks to socialising with only their own

It's very diverse but everyone tends to stick in their own groups really.

As for music, well it is mostly RnB, however, there are alot of us cool rock kids here too

When I was at Brunel, it was very, very South Asian. That was a long time ago, though.
I was worried I wouldn't find anyone of my sort of group due to the general opinion of Brunel being full of asians.

But it's honestly fine, it's diverse in multiple ways, both with ethnicity, music taste, hobbies and all sorts. I guarantee you will find a type of group you fit into.

Well as far as I know my mate who goes there, says there are a lot of asians ... Im asian myself and I know what you mean about the rude boys/girls....... i prefer to stay away from them
Brunel's quite diverse. Both ethnically and socially.

Personally, most of the students I've met are middle class and white.

I'm an antisocial law student who spends most of his time locked up in the law library, though!
