Urgh.. I hear the noise of someone pulling up on my carpet every night around 10pm all night. It's driving me insane because nothing is in there!! Hopefully it stops soon for you...

This heavy breathing , sometimes when I sleep on my tummy and dose off I hear kind of whistling noises which is a bit like breathing but when I sleep in any other position it does not happen. It freaked me out a few times until I realised what was doing it but I never ran to get my daddy.

It also could be night terrors/sleep paralysis which is where you kind of dose off but not quite and all kinds of weird stuff can happen but you can't move. In my opinion that is what causes 99 percent of spooky happenings.

The one percent well,I personally believe in ghosts after experiencing a very fuked up thing at a mental hospital I was doing security at and most of it was shortly being shut down and had lots of old buildings. Several other guys did as well and for that reason we were paid much extra to work nights as one or two refused due to it. So does my Dad who is a very intelligent man who saw a woman watching him, smiling while he was painting my bedroom when I had just been born. He never saw her again.

My dad for ages wondered who the woman was, and one day came upon some old photographs and the neighbour identified her as being the previous owner who died in the house of natural causes.

I hate stuff like this, my room is right beside the stairs which are wooden and creaky and freaky me out because I am paranoid someone's on them despite everyone being asleep and then after hearing that then the landing beside my room creaks. When I was little often I would go down to watch tv downstairs or get a drink and due to being paranoid I always would check between the gaps in the stairs that no one was there and one night I looked through and saw a man I didn't recognise just standing there smiling - it still freaks me out even though it was probs a hallucination.
