Really? You have to ask where the nice people are?

    Really?

Don't you think that says a lot about you?

He doesn't listen to my problems, he calls me names, he loses his temper (in a bad way) on a regular basis, he hates my family, he tells me he wants me to fail my exams more often than nore, he uses me for sexual gratification yet doesn't give anything back in return, he expects me to help him at the drop of a hat yet doesn't bother helping me when I need him, he hates women generally and he spends most of his time arguing, shouting and taking things out on me. He doesn't do romance, he doesn't so the normal things other couples too. That's just the start. Bet you regret asking now
If what you say is true, you certainly deserve a trophy for what you went through! OMG! [OMG]^2, I don't regret it, but I'd say he deserves a D'bag status for sure.

I think you should totally dump him for two specifically unforgivable reasons:

    1) "he tells me he wants me to fail my exams"........who does that?

    2) "He also texts me everytime he sees a pretty girl and tells me what he would like to do them (his ideal girl is skinny blonde). ".........FFS ...how dum!

so ya, I suggest it would be best if you'd dump him.

I am desperate to find a nice, kind, caring, understanding, patient, reliable, loyal guy but I have no idea where they hide out. Or why I am currently with a douchebag. Any tips?

Try here. If TSR doesn't work go and stalk on facebook. If that doesn't work go to a McDonald's. If that doesn't work...well, come back here and share your experience with us.

    Dungeons & Dragons groups.

Seriously. We make excellent partners because we're all so desperate for affection.

    You'll never find a D&D playing douchebag.

We do exist you know. We're just probably not as outgoing as everyone else or stuck in the friend zone with someone, that's why you're having trouble finding us.
Case in point this guy who's too shy to even post this under his tsr name

You cannot find a "decent guy" - but you can find plenty of guys with whom you can have a temporarily pleasant time if you don't take things too seriously.

Please tell me I misunderstood and that you didn't mean this in the sense that all girls go for douche bags boyfriends? I don't understand it when people say this- yes, some girls go for douche bags, however, given that quite a lot of girls have long and successful relationships with some boys, it implies that actually some relatively nice ones are getting some actions. And when girls do break up with nice boys, often it's not because they enjoy being messed around, it's because sometimes "nice boy" is just another way of saying "low self-esteem, not exactly riveting".

This is what he meant. "Nice guys" see dumping them because they're dull as the girl admitting they are a ***** because they'd rather go out with a guy who is more confident.

Which they then translate to that girl (and by extension all girls) as being shallow & all confident guys as being *******s who treat women like crap because they don't always agree with them about everything, and therefore don't deserve them as much as they do.

The pain of being dumped/never having the relationship in the first place skews their perspective on things, which makes them hate people and just makes their situation worse.

Eventually these "nice guys" find one another and gravitate together, safety in numbers against the shallow *****es and ******* guys in the world. And that's where things like 4Chan come from.

(Yes I speak from experience, I apologise to the world for it)
