Just read the first 5 questions.... Unless you're into marketing or design you are unlikely to ask yourself these questions when looking at an advert, it either grabs you or it doesn't.

Of course you aren't likely to ask yourself these questions whenever you look at an advert or comms material....the point is to get people thinking about it and find out WHY something grabs you. If some either 'grabs you or it doesn't' - how are people meant to know how to design/produce material that effectively 'grabs' people? If it's as simple as you suggest, why would anybody bother advertising or communicating their business proposition at all?

It's not simple at all. If I understood why and could answer your questions maybe I'd be a marketing/advertising exec myself. You can't just ask people what form of colour marketing influences them, you'll get an inaccurate response. It's better to monitor their reactions (e.g. this advert increases sales, or noting the contents of an advert that goes viral) the marketers work out what is effective.

If you wanted to design a better questionaire you could have included examples of different colour marketing and simply asked people which they preferred and then using their stats (age, background) you could maybe infer some conclusions.

As it stands I think it's entirely useless.
